Job Description:

The Night Auditor is a crucial role that combines front desk duties and overnight auditing tasks. The individual in this position ensures the smooth operation of the hotel's front desk during the night shift and performs end-of-day tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Guest Services:

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with check-in and check-out processes.
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Manage guest reservations, including changes and cancellations.
• Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications.
• Assist with the preparation of guest folios and other administrative tasks as required.

Night Audit Duties:

• Conduct daily financial audits, including balancing and reconciling all accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily reports, including revenue, occupancy, and other relevant statistics.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, including cash and credit cards.
• Post room charges, taxes, and other necessary adjustments to guest accounts.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies found during the audit process.
• Monitor hotel security by following established protocols and reporting any suspicious activities
• Report any incidents, accidents, or emergencies to the appropriate management staff.
• Prepare and organize reports for management review.
• Process end-of-day procedures and ensure that all systems are updated with the correct data

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong customer service and English communication skills (written and spoken).
