Our Pop‑up BBQ Dinner Restaurant at Heartwood House brings the spirit of legendary Texas BBQ to Hyatt Regency Lost Pines — smoky aromas, generous portions, rustic charm, and a fun, communal dining vibe. Guests will enjoy a relaxed, family‑style dinner experience with the elevated service and professionalism Hyatt is known for.

Role Overview: As the Cashier, you’ll be the final point of contact in the guest journey. After guests select their meal items, you’ll greet them with genuine Texas friendliness, complete their transaction efficiently, and ensure they leave the line feeling welcomed, appreciated, and excited to dig in!

What You’ll Do

Serve as the last stop in the buffet experience, checking guests out after they’ve chosen their items
Process payments quickly, accurately, and with a friendly, upbeat attitude
Provide brief menu or pricing clarification when needed
Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and moving smoothly
Assist with light host/guest‑flow duties to maintain a seamless buffet line
Support the team during setup and breakdown of the pop‑up space

Requirements

Previous cash‑handling and/or customer‑service experience required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, energetic, and ability to stand for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork.
Must be available for evenings weekend, holiday, through September of 2026
Must be 18 years of age or older
Texas Food Handler’s and TBAC certification required
