Position: Server

Department: Room Service

Purpose: Tomaintainthe highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Room Service.

Reports to: Room Service Manager, Assistant Room Service Manager, Room Service Captain

EssentialFunctions:

Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials.
Prepare, deliverand service orders.
Always inquire if additionalservice is needed.
Responsible for each check.
Responsible for pick-uptables and trays.
Responsible for set-up, deliveryand presentation of VIPamenity.
Responsible for hospitality set-up.
Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
Complete all side duties as assigned.
Must minimize breakage.
Attend all designated staff meetings and training sessions.

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

Responsible for breakingdown ofdirty tables and trays.

Responsible for answering phone if Order taker is not present.

Tools and Equipment:

Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-marycart, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine

Walk-in refrigerator, Room Service tables, hot box,

Working Environment:

Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen and guestroom.Exposure to extreme temperatures.
Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
Exposure tofood items and beverages.
