Beach Haven, a charming, independent 24-key boutique hotel in the heart of Pacific Beach, is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. Located just steps from the beach, our property offers a unique coastal atmosphere and personalized hospitality that sets us apart.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values team development, and understands the importance of operational excellence in a boutique setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all day-to-day hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate staff across departments.
• Manage budgets, financial reporting, payroll, and cost controls.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors, guests, and the local community.
• Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
• Monitor online reviews and reputation management initiatives.
• Manage and refine automated guest communication workflows to ensure a seamless "contactless-capable" guest journey.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in boutique or independent properties.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with modern hospitality tech stacks (Cloudbeds, Whistle, or similar) and OTA platforms.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
