Position: Laundry Attendant

Department: Laundry

Purpose: To make sure all Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linen requirements are stocked in respective closets as requested to meet the expectations of Omni standards.

Reportsto: Housekeeping Manager / Director Housekeeping

EssentialFunctions:

• Operating dryers, washing machines, ironers & chute

• Sort, press, clean & store hotel linen

• Deliver clean linen to the proper linen closets by item and record deliveries

• Operating towel folder

• Clean all dryers at least 3 times a day

• Inventory andmaintainpar levels of all linen closets

• Clean area and blow down all machines

• Completes other duties as assigned

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

• Inventory housekeeping linen closets daily

• Deliver Housekeepingand Banquet linen to specified closets

• Stock all closets according to specific par levels

• Pick up dirty linen from Banquet pantries

• Empty chute daily

• Empty dryers andassistin folding terry

• Deliver robes to linen closets and stock according to par

• Empty trash and keep work areas clean and free of lint

• Interior ofhotel.Exposure toextreme heat and humidity.
