Hotel Painter

Salary: $30 - $32 hourly

Hotel Barrière Fouquet’s is looking for a qualified and experienced Painter. This role will be responsible for carrying out all painting works within the hotel, including surface preparation, touch-ups, repainting, and finishing to maintain the appearance and quality of the building and facilities. Ensures all painting activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with hotel standards

Day to Day Task include the following.

• Prepare, sand, patch and tape as necessary
• Fill, primer and prepare surfaces for painting
• Have extensive knowledge of paint components, matching colors and utilizing the correct equipment when performing a job
• Maintain the building exterior as needed
• Communicate with hotel department heads to become aware of maintenance needs and ensure timely response to internal requests.
• Perform other duties as requested by ownership and management.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with others.
• Approach all encounters with guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Must be proactive in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving issues as necessary.
• Requires a reliable and consistent sense of urgency at all times.

Requirement to Apply:

• At least 5 years of experience as a professional Painter with references;
• Proficient in Basic computer usage
• Ability to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Capacity to work varied shifts including holiday and weekends.
