At Jansz., service is about far more than taking orders and serving dishes. It is about reading the room, anticipating needs, and creating a guest experience that feels warm, personal, and effortlessly polished.

Set within the beautiful surroundings of Pulitzer Amsterdam, Jansz. is our elegant yet approachable restaurant where elevated casual dining meets the charm of a true Amsterdam canal house. With around 85 covers, a semi private dining area, and three event spaces for intimate private dinners of up to 20 guests, no service is ever quite the same.

We are looking for a Waiter / Waitress who understands luxury standards in service, but brings them in a way that feels natural, genuine, and full of personality.

As a Waiter / Waitress at Jansz., you play a key role in shaping each guest’s experience from the moment they are handed over by our hosts to the moment they leave the restaurant.

You will work 9 hour shifts, either:

• Breakfast and lunch
• Lunch and dinner

During high season, our hotel often reaches 85%+ occupancy, which makes breakfast a lively and fast paced environment. This is where guest experience, efficiency, and pace need to work hand in hand.

Lunch and dinner have a different rhythm. Here, the focus shifts more toward storytelling, detail, and creating a unique experience for every guest. This is where your personal touch, timing, and intuition truly make the difference.

We are looking for someone who can combine speed with elegance and high standards with warmth.

You are someone who:
