Role Overview

Operational Excellence
- Ensure seamless daily operations across the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and dining services.
- Uphold brand standards and Marriott SOPs with precision.
- Step in as “Manager on Duty” in the General Manager’s absence.
Leadership & Team Development
- Guide department heads and frontline associates with confidence.
- Engage in hiring, onboarding, training, and effective scheduling.
- Conduct insightful performance reviews and offer strategic coaching.
- Foster a service culture that resonates with Marriott’s values.
Financial Acumen
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and meticulous expense control.
- Track daily revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with sales teams to boost business growth.
- Optimize labor costs and productivity metrics.
Guest Experience Mastery
- Address guest complaints with ease and resolve service issues promptly.
- Drive high guest satisfaction scores, aligning with Marriott Bonvoy standards.
- Conduct thorough property inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality.
- Engage with online reviews and guest feedback to enhance service.
Compliance & Reporting
- Assist the GM with operational reports and brand audits.
- Maintain safety, security, and compliance standards diligently.
- Ensure emergency procedures and training compliance.
Essential Skills
- Exemplary leadership and people management abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, including front office and housekeeping.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Strong financial awareness, including budgeting and P&L basics.
- A commitment to outstanding guest service.
- Familiarity with Marriott systems such as Opera and MGS is preferred.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–5 years in hotel operations, with experience in front office, supervisor, or department manager roles.
- Prior experience with Marriott or select-service hotels is a valuable asset.
