Overview:

The Engineering Manager will provide technical and administrativeassistanceto the Director of Engineering Services and toassistthe Director of Engineering Services in the operational aspect of the Engineering Department forthe hotel

Responsibilities

Assist the Director of Engineering Services in the upkeep of the preventative maintenance, including the keeping of logs on work done, scheduling and the assignment of projects and other related tasks.

Review work orders and assign work by priorities.

Maintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.

Respond to guest requests.
Work with the Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinatestheir activities.

Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.

Have a thorough understanding of Omni's job scenarios

Qualifications:

Must have extensive HVAC and mechanical experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Mustbe able toworka flexible schedule to include nights,weekendsand holidays.

2-4 years of luxury hotel engineering experience preferred.

Previous experience at a resort preferred.

Ability to work in the interior and exterior of the hotel as needed.

Must be able tomaintaina professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.

Cold, heat, humidity, precipitation, wind, noise, and vibration.
