Golf Food and Beverage Server

Overview:

As a seasonal Golf Clubhouse Restaurant Server & Beverage Cart Attendant, you will work closely with Food & Beverage Leaders to execute smooth operations, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction. You will be delivering exceptional service both indoors at Fairways Restaurant and on the golf course with the beverage cart, helping to create memorable moments for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Golf Clubhouse Restaurant Server Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
  • Set tables according to event type and service standards.
  • Take orders, answer questions, and offer suggestions on menu selections.
  • Communicate with the culinary team regarding dietary needs, allergies, and special requests.
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and drinks.
  • Process payments and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
  • Complete closing duties and ensure the restaurant area is ready for the next service.
• Beverage Cart Attendant Responsibilities:
  • Operate the beverage cart throughout the golf course, providing food and beverage service to golf players.
  • Maintain a high level of service and ensure all resort and golf customer service standards are upheld.
  • Stock beverage cart with daily inventory and maintain condition of the cart.
  • Mix drinks, serve beverages and food, and handle cash transactions in compliance with policies.
  • Ensure the beverage cart is clean and properly stored at the end of the shift.
  • Adhere to resort’s safe driving procedures when operating the beverage cart.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years’ serving experience in a hotel, country club or restaurant.
  • Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits is a must.
  • Current TIPs alcohol certification and Food Handlers certifications.
  • Ability work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk and bend for the entirety of the shift.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
• Working Environment:
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
  • Able to communicate effectively with guests and other associates.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive outgoing personality.
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor environment, exposed to the elements.
