LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Reports To: Property Manager 

Job Type: Full Time

Hours Per Week: +40 hours

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a thorough Laundry Attendant with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. The goal is to enhance customer experience by keeping our facilities clean and orderly. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Employees must always be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees
• The House Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, ironing, folding, and distributing all soiled linens and towels.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
• Perform other duties as requested by management
• Understand the operation of washing machines and dryers
• Load and unload washes according to standards
• Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, and others
• Sort linen according to type, color, and size, clean laundry according to type, and load cart
• Pre-treat all stained linen before washing
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment as trained. Maintain clean work area
• Operate iron as per standard and ensure that it is shut off at the end of the day
• Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linen
• Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
