Position Summary
As part of the pre-opening team, the Guest Services Representative helps shape the guest experience
from day one. This role supports the successful launch of the hotel by combining operational readiness,
brand standards, and warm, efficient guest service.
Pre-Opening Responsibilities
• Participate in pre-opening training, service simulations, and brand onboarding.
• Assist with testing front desk systems, workflows, and arrival/departure standards.
• Support setup of front desk materials, supplies, signage, and operational tools.
• Help establish consistent service routines aligned with Holiday Inn Express standards.
• Provide feedback to leadership to improve processes prior to opening.
Core Responsibilities (Post-Opening)
• Deliver efficient, friendly check-in and check-out experiences.
• Manage reservations, room assignments, and guest billing accurately.
• Recognize and acknowledge IHG One Rewards members and returning guests.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain compliance with safety, security, and brand procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to support smooth operations.

• Front desk operations are accurate, organized, and efficient.

• Previous hotel or customer-facing experience preferred
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Basic computer skills; hotel PMS experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
