Job Overview
Morning availability beginning at 5:30 AM is required for this position! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and coffee knowledge will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with people, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items and coffee, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee, food items, and supplies; assist with restocking as needed.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Must be able to execute Company's Core Standards
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic knowledge of retail math and cash register operations is beneficial.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and strong teamwork skills are essential.
