Summary:

Services the mini bar units & coffee service in guest rooms by performing the following duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Takes inventory of mini-bar units in a timely and efficient manner.
• Executes precise guest billing for mini-bar units.
• Maintains closing and opening reports.
• Works guest room floors with mini-bar supervisor.
• Replaces proper items in their proper place in the mini-bar units. Controls min-bar stock as needed. All other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to all Sonesta Service Standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Position may require reaching with hands and arms
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
• Communication
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers
  • Must read, write and speak the English language fluently
  • Knowledge of Spanish helpful
• Computer skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel
