At Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort, exceptional dining experiences begin behind the scenes. As a Steward, you are an essential part of the culinary team, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment that supports efficient operations and the highest standards of sanitation and service.

This role is ideal for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in teamwork, cleanliness, and contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house spaces

• Assist with trash removal, recycling, and proper waste handling

• Support culinary operations by organizing clean equipment and restocking supplies

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Omni brand standards

• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by leadership

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or kitchen experience preferred but not required

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

• Strong reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
