A general overview of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper position is as follows: 

• Assigning rooms for Housekeepers, assigning extra help for deep cleaning 
• Partnering with Maintenance to ensure Housekeeping supplies are fully stocked 
• Ensuring all cleaned rooms are checked and updated in the computer system 
• Maintains and logs lost and found items 
• Makes sure all storage areas are locked 
• Oversees Housekeeping’s use of the time clock, ensuring that punches are accurate 
• Responsible for making sure there are enough linens stocked for the night Housekeepers 
• Assists in training for each new Housekeeper 
• Assists in terminations of Housekeepers that are not showing signs of progress 
• Ensures that cleaned rooms are up to standards, rules, and regulations 
• Responding promptly to any guests inquires or complaints, or escalating to the General Manager

• Excellent guest service to include:  Honesty, a positive attitude, a commitment to servicing the guest, taking initiative to speak with our guests 
• Has the ability to seek out work, rather than to wait for direction 
• General knowledge of the safety, security rules & procedures 
• Excellent planning and organizing skills 
• The ability to modify leadership style and management approach to reach goals at hand 
• Effectively communicate ideas and needs, both in written and oral communication 
• Has the ability to stand or walk for up to hours per day 
• Must provide authorization for us to run a pre-employment National Crime Background check
