The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the management of the entire hotel’s operations. The AGM is also responsible to meet performance and profit goals. These objectives include assisting in the selection, development and training of all employees in the hotel. The AGM ensures an exceptional customer experience that supports the hotel’s philosophy to put guests first while maintain a positive environment for employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:

• Supports management and development of departmental teams.

• Supervises the day-to-day task assignments and performance of assigned employees.

• Ensures that team members throughout the property maintain all brand standards.

• Oversees all finance and accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable, petty cash, payroll, ordering procedures, and banking.

• Reviews financial statements, sales activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.

• Extends professionalism and courtesy to guests and employees at all times.

• Other duties may be assigned.
