We are looking for a result driven, passionate sales professional who has the drive, determination and hunger to seek out and win new business whilst raising the profile of the Generator brand and the properties in the region. Who Are We

Generator is on a journey. Appropriate, given that we're a hotel and hostel accommodation brand. The journey began in London, swung through a heap of European capitals on its way to dominating the world. About Paramount Hotel Times Square

Paramount Hotel is a New York City landmark located just steps from Times Square. Constructed in the French Renaissance style by Thomas W. Lamb in 1927, the building reflects the theatrical character of it neighborhood. The bustle of the street disappears as you step inside - with its two-story lobby, reflective fireplace, dramatic lighting, and rich textures, it sets the stage for a hip, indulgent experience. Recently updated but retaining it historical charm, the Paramount Hotel is standing out - as the only hotel near Broadway NYC with genuine personality.

Nuts And Bolts Of The Job

• Manage a portfolio of key accounts, maximising Groups opportunities
• Pro-actively seek out, take ownership and continually deliver new business opportunities across key markets
• Build long term, commercially beneficial relationships within your market
• Understand, develop and follow company and sales specific practices
• Spend time with customers supporting their accommodation, F&B and event needs
• Represent the company at key industry events
• Report in a timely, consistent and professional manner on account and personal performance
• Collect, review, analyse market and revenue data in order to plan and execute strategic plans
• Plan, organise and manage a proactive and efficient business sales calendar

• A strong negotiator
• Organisational and prioritisation skills in order to meet strict reporting deadlines

• Hands-on attitude, with attention to detail
