Situated in the heart of the charming and historic Biltmore Village, we deliver exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. As we continue to raise the bar in service and hospitality, we are seeking a passionate, results-driven General Manager to lead our team and uphold our high standards of performance.

Position Overview:

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of hotel operations, guest satisfaction, team leadership, and profitability. You will play a critical role in maintaining our top-rated reputation, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and driving long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance
• Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize revenue, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain top-tier guest service standards and actively manage the hotel’s TripAdvisor ranking.
• Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Maintain cost control
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with upper management and Marriott corporate teams to execute initiatives and policies.
• Actively engage in the local Asheville and Biltmore Village communities to build brand visibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a branded, full- or select-service hotel environment (Marriott experience preferred).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a hands-on, proactive management style.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
• Excellent knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and financial acumen.
• Strong guest service orientation with a track record of high guest satisfaction scores.
• Ability to analyze data and make effective business decisions.
• Familiarity with Marriott systems (FOSSE, MGS, GXP, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field (preferred, but NOT required).
