As a Cafe Attendant, you’ll play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience for Omni associates. You’ll work alongside our culinary and café teams to ensure meals are delivered quickly, accurately, and with the warm, personalized service that defines the Omni experience.

This is a weekday-only position, scheduled 10:00 AM–3:00 PM, with occasional schedule fluctuations based on business needs. That means no late-night restaurant shifts and no regular weekend schedule, giving you a consistent workweek while still being part of the exciting world of hospitality and food service.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the expeditor (expo) station with all necessary service items by 11:15 AM each day.
• Prepare fresh fruit and crudités for daily café service.
• Set up and maintain the guest beverage and silverware stations.
• Deliver food orders promptly and accurately while providing friendly, professional service.
• Communicate guest requests and special needs effectively to kitchen staff and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary expo station in accordance with health department guidelines.
• Learn and confidently communicate descriptions of menu items produced at all café stations.
• Close the hot station each day, including proper food storage, labeling, dating, and restocking for the following day.
• Assist with food preparation and front-line service as assigned based on daily business levels.
• Support the café team in delivering a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for Omni associates.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and kitchen operations.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-paced food-service or hospitality environment preferred.
• Basic knife skills and comfort with food preparation.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional approach to service.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for 5+ hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a kitchen, front service line, and dining environment.
• Ability to safely use common kitchen equipment, including knives, utensils, mixers, ovens, stoves, grills, and related equipment.
