No Job Description for a position canpossibly includeall duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel.Theobjectiveof all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or toimmediatelyreferrequests to theappropriate departmentmanager.The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position.

Position: Server Assistant

Department: Taqueria Centro

Purpose: The Server Assistantrole provides quality service that exceeds Guest and Member expectations. Works to create guests for life by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations, and gaining knowledge toassistguests with all needs.

Reports to:RestaurantManager

Essential Functions:

• Proper Restaurant/ Pool Setup both BOH and FOH

• Must have familiarity with menus and beverage offerings.

• Responsible forRunning food, bussing tables, polishing glassware, resetting tables.

• Responsible forice supply and stocking of any items that may be of need.

• Responsible forcleaning ofthe pool deck, cabanas, and pool bars.

• Responsible forstocking clean towel stations and taking dirty towels down to housekeeping.

• Awareness of all safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere for guests and employee partners.

• Proper Expo setup

• Ensure all products are fresh and of quality

• Responsible for transporting all necessary food items from the kitchen to the correct location.

• Pour/refillwater.

• Proper use of a mop or a broom when needed.

• Ability to take out trash

• Open/ Move umbrellas upon request.

• Assistin moving tables and pool chairs.

• Provide exceptional customer service.

• Maintain a clean working area.

• Mustbe able to stand/walk through the shift for up to 8 hours.

• Excellent communication and guest service skills

• Must have a strong attention to detail.

• Assistin with tasks assignedbyManager.

• Mustbe able to carry a tray.

Tools and Equipment:

• Computer and printer, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine,

file folders, filing cabinet

Working Environment:

• Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel.

• Exterior ofhotel with exposure to weather conditions, including extremeheat.

• Must be able tolift upto 20pounds.

• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

• Exposure tofood items and beverages.
