No Job Description for a position canpossibly includeall duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel.Theobjectiveof all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or toimmediatelyreferrequests to theappropriate departmentmanager.The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position.

Position: Public Area Attendant

Department: Rooms | Housekeeping

Purpose: To service andmaintainthe cleanliness of all public areas including public andassociate restrooms, lobby floors, meeting spacebathroomsand executive officesin accordance withOmni Standards.

Reports to: AssistantDirector of Housekeeping. Director of Housekeeping

EssentialJobFunctions:

• To ensure that the hotel lobby and public areasare serviced throughout the day

• To service allpublic restrooms in lobby, meeting spaces,restaurantand pool areas.

• To service the executive offices.

• Services both men’s and ladies associate locker rooms.

• Always keep public area stairways and main guest entrance is neat, clean and presentable at all times.

• Ensureall ash urns throughout the property are always neat and clean.

• Serviceguestand associate elevators.

• Maintainhighestlevels of cleanliness throughout the hotel property.

• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects assigned.

• Anticipate, listen,assistand follow through with all the guests’ requests ina timelymanner.

• Communicateany needs or concerns within the hotel with theappropriate departments.

• Report any maintenance issues or concerns.

• Follow all Loss Prevention proceduresregardingguest property,safetyand security. Report any concerns to department managers orlosspreventionin a timely manner.

• Attend all designated staff and training meetings.

Qualifications:

• Ability tomaintainthehighest levelcleanliness and service standards.

• Ability to work with management on special projects.

• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency as requested.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50pounds withoutassistance.

• Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 75pounds withoutassistance.

• Must be able to stand/walk forthe entireshift.

• Must be able to communicate via radio and phone as needed.

• Must be able toworka flexible schedule including AM and PM shifts,holidaysand weekends.

• Previoushotel experience is a plus but not a requirement.
