The Role

As a Hotel Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee all maintenance operations for the property, ensuring building systems, guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and supervise the hotel maintenance team
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs
• Oversee repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life-safety systems
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
• Manage maintenance work orders, schedules, inventories, and budgets
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and support emergency situations as needed
• Assist with capital improvement projects, renovations, and equipment upgrades

Qualifications

What Makes You You

• Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or property engineering
• Supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems
• Excellent troubleshooting, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintenance requests
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems and work order tracking
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
• Flexible to work any shifts including holidays and weekends and responding to emergency situations when required.
