energetic, hands-on, and highly accountable General Manager who will lead our team,

elevate the guest experience, drive financial performance, and build a culture of excellence.

POSITION SUMMARY

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and day-

to-day operations of the hotel. This role oversees all departments including Front Office,

Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast Operations, Sales, Revenue Management, and Guest

Services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving financial objectives, maintaining

Hilton brand standards, maximizing guest satisfaction, developing team members, and

ensuring the hotel operates efficiently and profitably.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT

• Recruit, train, coach, and retain high-performing team members.

• Create a positive and engaging work environment focused on teamwork and

accountability.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.

• Develop future leaders through mentoring and professional development.

• Lead by example and maintain a strong presence throughout the hotel.

• Foster a culture that embraces Hilton hospitality and Tru brand values.

GUEST EXPERIENCE

• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and service scores.

• Ensure prompt and professional resolution of guest concerns.

• Monitor guest feedback and online reputation platforms.

• Champion Hilton Honors enrollment and guest recognition initiatives.

• Ensure every guest receives a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience.

REVENUE MANAGEMENT & SALES

• Drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share growth.

• Partner with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies.

• Work closely with sales teams to secure corporate, project, crew, sports, and group

business.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Midland business community.

• Identify opportunities to grow revenue and improve profitability.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

• Achieve or exceed budgeted revenue and profit goals.

• Manage labor costs and operating expenses effectively.

• Review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.

• Analyze business trends and implement corrective action plans.

• Maintain accountability for refunds, adjustments, complimentary rooms, and operational

variances.

OPERATIONS & QUALITY ASSURANCE

• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and quality assurance requirements.

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness, maintenance, and operational standards.

• Conduct regular property inspections and follow-up actions.

• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital projects.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and risk management policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum three years of hotel General Manager experience OR five years of progressive

hotel leadership experience.

• Hilton experience strongly preferred.

• Tru by Hilton experience preferred.

• Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales, revenue management, and financial

reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive performance.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
