- TPS
The Role
As the Area Sales Manager, you will lead the cluster sales strategy, drive revenue, and build long-term client relationships. You’ll work closely with property leadership and Regional Sales to maximize occupancy, grow market share, and elevate brand presence.
What You’ll Do
- Drive top-line revenue across all assigned hotels
- Execute strategic sales plans and achieve booking goals
- Lead proactive sales efforts including outside sales calls, client meetings, and prospecting
- Develop and grow key accounts and market segments
- Analyze market trends, STAR reports, and competitive data to guide strategy
- Partner with hotel leadership to align on sales, marketing, and operational goals
- Represent properties at trade shows, networking events, and community engagements
- Mentor and support on-property sales teams
- Deliver exceptional service to build long-term client relationships
What We’re Looking For
- 2-3+ years of hotel sales experience (multi-property preferred)
- Proven track record of driving revenue and market share growth
- Strong knowledge of Marriott brands and sales strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized, self-driven, and results-oriented
- Ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams
- Valid driver’s license (local travel required)
