Compensación: 75.000 $ a 85.000 $ por año

The Banquet Manager has the shared responsibility of ensuring that we exceed our guests’ expectations in our hospitality. This person will direct, oversee and take an active role in all aspects of our Banquet and Food and Beverage operations, hands on. The Banquet Manager collaborates in growth strategy, team leadership, event planning. Represent the company enthusiastically and professionally at all times to employees and guest.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Hire, supervise, educate, train, and develop team members within the banquet department.
  2. Work directly with Banquet Chef, Food and Beverage Director, and Sales Managers to ensure organization of details for booked catering/banquet events by reviewing BEO’s
  3. Lead the team by consistently following/enforcing mandated food safety practices
  4. Anticipate workflow challenges and offer solutions
  5. Establish and maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance
  6. Possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  7. Perform quality control on all food and beverage that we serve
  8. Plan and execute tastings as needed
  9. Work under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines, due dates and service times
  10. Manage team members by treating them fairly, respectfully and by holding them accountable with corrective action according to company policy
  11. Ordering of products and supplies, monthly inventory, scheduling and payroll
  12. Manage department budgets, specifically relating to food cost
  13. Attend departmental meetings
  14. Ensure that all serviceable items are correct in weights, measures and process
  15. Project event consumption by use of mathematics to ensure adequate preparation while controlling waste
  16. Partake in company initiatives regarding recycling and sustainability
  17. Assist in resort food and beverage operation as needed (holiday events, staff meals etc.)
  18. Maintain cleanliness of Event spaces both front and back of the house.
  19. Continuously stay interested in industry trends that move the company forward
  20. Other duties as assigned
