Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Sales Manager to support and grow our small group market segment consisting of groups with 27 rooms or fewer. This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and maximizing revenue through strategic sales efforts while delivering the exceptional service standards synonymous with the Omni brand.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, and passionate about hospitality sales, with the ability to create memorable experiences for clients and guests alike.

Responsibilities

• Solicit and secure new small group business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and account development
• Manage and respond to sales inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, meeting planners, and repeat business accounts
• Conduct site tours and presentations for prospective clients
• Prepare contracts, proposals, and banquet event orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate closely with catering, convention services, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals and revenue targets
• Maintain accurate client and booking information within sales systems
• Participate in local networking events, industry organizations, and community outreach efforts
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and event planning process

Qualifications

• Previous hotel sales or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems preferred
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest and client experiences
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and networking events as needed
