Set within the beautiful surroundings of Pulitzer Amsterdam, Jansz. is our elegant yet approachable restaurant where elevated casual dining meets the charm of a true Amsterdam canal house. Our kitchen focuses on quality ingredients, refined flavours, and service that feels polished without ever becoming formal or stiff, under the leadership of Executive Chef Jeroen Boone.

We are looking for a Chef de Partie who is passionate about food, confident in leading a section, and excited to grow within a supportive and ambitious kitchen team.

No service at Jansz. is ever quite the same.

As Chef de Partie, you take ownership of your section during preparation and service. You ensure dishes are prepared with consistency, quality, and attention to detail, while maintaining a smooth and organised workflow throughout the shift.

You support and guide junior team members, communicate closely with the wider kitchen team, and help create a positive atmosphere during busy services. Whether it is lunch, dinner, or private dining, you remain calm, focused, and hands on.

Alongside service, you maintain high standards in cleanliness, organisation, and HACCP compliance, always ensuring your section is ready to perform at its best.

• You manage your section during mise en place and service.
• You prepare and present dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
• You support and guide Demi Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs.
• You ensure ingredients are stored, labelled, and handled correctly.
• You work according to HACCP and food safety standards.
• You help maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen.
• You support stock control and minimise waste where possible.
• You contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen culture.

• You have previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready for the next step.
• You are passionate about quality ingredients and modern hospitality.
• You are organised, flexible, and reliable.
• You work well under pressure and have a strong eye for detail.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and supporting the development of others.
• You are comfortable working evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
