WHAT YOU OWN

  • Corporate Transient: Prospect, qualify, and close local negotiated and national corporate accounts.
  • Own the full relationship from cold outreach through signed contract and annual renewal. Target 15 to 20% net new corporate production in year one.
  • Group Pipeline: Manage group sales from RFP through deposit independently.
  • Build blocks and manage inventory directly in Stayntouch PMS. Accountable for conversion, attrition, and pickup accuracy.
  • Commercial Strategy: Work closely with revenue management using Demand360, Lighthouse, and Knowland to align rate strategy, inventory allocation, and need-period tactics.
  • GDS and Agency Production: Leverage Agency360 to grow GDS production and TMC partnerships.
  • Build relationships with corporate travel managers to expand Triton's preferred status across key accounts.
  • Channel Shift: Lead the repositioning from OTA-heavy volume toward direct corporate and wholesale channels.
  • Protect ADR and improve net margin.
  • Wholesale Activation: Drive conversion through wholesale partnerships during peak periods, particularly summer.
  • Partner with Revenue team to build packages, allocation negotiation, and conversion tracking.
  • Prospecting: Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, and sales blitzes targeting Financial District headquarters, Union Square, and Chinatown-adjacent international business.

WHAT WE NEED

  • 3 to 5 years of hotel sales in a Tier 1 urban market. San Francisco experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record closing corporate negotiated accounts and managing group bookings from inquiry through signed contract and deposited business.
  • Hands-on daily proficiency with Cvent, Demand360, Lighthouse, Knowland, and Agency360.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Stayntouch or comparable cloud-based PMS.
  • Able to independently build blocks, manage inventory, navigate rate loading, and coordinate group logistics with front office.
  • Deep understanding of the San Francisco corporate and group landscape.
  • Credibility to negotiate with C-suite procurement teams, travel managers, and event planners.
  • Self-directed. You manage your own pipeline. You prospect, close, and report results to the Exec. Committee.
  • Professional maturity and leadership qualities with the ambition to grow into a Director of Sales role.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Base Salary: Up to $80,000K - $90,000K
  • Bonus: Performance-based, tied to revenue targets
