Overview:

We are seeking a polished, energetic, and guest-focused Pool Bar Host to serve as the first point of contact for guests at our vibrant rooftop pool and bar. This role blends hospitality, ambiance curation, and seamless service coordination to create a memorable, elevated experience in a high-energy, luxury setting. The ideal candidate has a natural sense of style, strong situational awareness, and the ability to anticipate guest needs while maintaining the exclusivity and flow of a premier rooftop destination.

Essential Functions:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a confident, welcoming presence
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements for poolside loungers, cabanas, and bar areas
• Maintain an awareness of guest flow to ensure a balanced, comfortable atmosphere
• Set expectations (service style, ordering process, time limits if applicable)
• Reinforce ambiance (music vibe, social atmosphere, house etiquette)
• Enforce capacity limits and safety guidelines in a professional manner
• Act as liaison between guests, servers, bartenders, and management
• Communicate guest preferences, VIP notes, and special occasions
• Support service staff during peak periods when needed
• Maintain a polished personal appearance aligned with luxury brand standards
• Contribute to the overall vibe—upbeat, refined, and attentive without being intrusive
• Observe and respond to guest cues to elevate their experience

Qualifications:

• Previous host, hospitality, or guest services experience preferred (luxury or nightlife environment a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident, poised, and professional demeanor in high-energy environments
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
• Experience in upscale hotels, beach clubs, or rooftop venues
• Knowledge of food & beverage service flow
• Awareness of social dynamics and VIP service etiquette
