Position Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and supporting the Front Office team to achieve operational excellence. This role plays a key part in maintaining brand standards, resolving guest concerns, and driving guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibility

1. Guest Service Excellence

Deliver outstanding guest service in line with IHG / brand standards
Handle VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest complaints professionally
Ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience
Act as Manager on Duty when required

2. Team Leadership

Supervise, train, and coach Front Desk Agents
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
Ensure proper staffing coverage for all shifts
Support onboarding and continuous training

3. Operations Management

Oversee daily front desk operations, including cash handling and billing accuracy
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards
Monitor room inventory, upgrades, and special requests
Coordinate closely with Housekeeping and Engineering

4. Revenue & Upselling

Promote upselling of rooms, packages, and services
Maximize occupancy and ADR opportunities
Ensure accurate posting of room, tax, and incidental charges

5. Reporting & Compliance

Review daily reports and resolve discrepancies
Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
Maintain compliance with company policies and local regulations

Qualifications:

Minimum 2–3 years of hotel front office experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera preferred)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong leadership and team management skills
