Essential Job Functions:

• To work as part of the spa therapy team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of treatment, creating an elevated,sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.

• Supports newOmni Safe and CleanProtocolsthroughout the spa to support Omni's sanitation protocols. 

• Responsible forstocking /setting upand re-settingthe treatment rooms according toOpening and Closing Operational Checklists.

• Removal of dirty linensin a timely manner.

• Maintain sanitation of work area and equipment as required by state board guidelines.

• Ensure all professional stock is being used in compliance with the PAR levels toassistwith reduction in product waste.

• To begin and end treatments at the publishedtime andensure correct procedures of all treatments arebeing followedat all times.

• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

• Ensure all guests depart with a completedProfessional Recommendation Formafter each and every service.

• Strive to consistently encourage upgrades and produce a minimum of 10% in retail sales per day / week/ month.

• Regularly attend,participatein and support training and staff meetings.

• Perform all services for which training has been received in the allotted period and without personal interpretation of the treatment application.

• Report any maintenance problems throughout the spa to the proper authority.

• Stay current and educated with new treatments and products in the Spa industry.

• Must maintain client and spa business confidentiality/privacy at all times.

• Must agree and adhere tocompensationacknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.

• Communicate tomanagementany and alloccurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

• Assistin all areas of spa operation as requested by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in massagetherapypreferably in an upscale salon or spa.

• Proficient skills in traditional and modern forms of massage.

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

• Team player

• Ability and willingness to update technical skills byfacilitatingand participating in on-goingtraining.

• Effective communicator

• Ability tomaintaincompliancewithState Board sanitation/sterilization procedures.

• Responsible and dependable withabilityto fulfill on-call scheduling needs, according to the demands of the business.

• Must be available to work flexible shifts including holidays andweekends.

• Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, alwaysoperatingwith a strong attention to detail to theguest’sneeds. 

• Must be flexible and cooperative.

• Ability to work well under pressure, managingback-to-backappointments in a high volume 4-starenvironment.

Physical Requirements:

• Follow all aspects of jobsafety.

• Stand and/or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.  

• Able to execute proper body mechanics to reduce fatigue,overuse,or injury.

• Requires repetitive motion, with consistent use of hands and arms.

• Able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds with frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting. 

Working Environment:

• Interior ofSpa

• Occasional exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

• Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

Tools & Equipment:

• Massage tables, oils and cremes, massage accessories, towels

• Computer, telephone
