Overview:

The role of the Server is to wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve the guest in any way possible.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of fine dining service.

Must have full familiarity with menus.

Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings.

Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.

To polish and clean glass and silver wares.

Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.

To have dollies’ underliners ready.

To fold various napkins for service

Service to guests.

Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained.

Clean and maintain restaurant.

Knowledge of Micros Computer System

Help other associates whenever possible and maintain a dedication towards teamwork.

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.

Must have strong communications skills

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to multitask.

Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.

Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.

Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must have Food Handlers and ServSafe Alcohol Certification.
