Overview:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will coordinate the work assignments for housekeeping staff including but not limited to room attendants, housemen, laundry attendants and turndown attendants, each day andansweringguestand associate calls and dispatching work tickets appropriately. He/sheis responsible fortheday to dayoffice operations for the housekeeping department. The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to ensure that the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms, public areas, back of house and landings meet Omni four star/four diamond standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Open and close housekeeping department daily. 

  • Work with Loss Prevention tomaintainlost and found records. 

  • Dispatch all calls toappropriate discipline. 

  • Communicate effectively with all departments, including engineering. 

  • Update Synergy requests.

  • Respond to all phone calls/ requests from guests and other departments. 

  • Monitorcomputersystem. 

  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with the front desk. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization indepartment. 

  • Walk the floors and inspect guest rooms.

  • Inspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areas

    Assign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.

    Report anyneeded repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.

    Ensure that all Guest Room Attendants haveappropriate suppliesand linens.

    Assistin processing AM and PM room status reports.

    Ensure that the Guest Room Attendant’s linen cart is neat and well organized.

    Ensure that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.

    Maintainsupplycage stock, neat and cleanat all times.

    Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.

    Ensure VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.

    Ensure check out/vacated rooms are a priority.

    Knowledge ofhotel,facilitiesand events.

    To ensurehotel,guestand associates aremaintainedin a safe and secure environment.

    Perform any other duties as required by management

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in fluent English.

  • Ability towork days, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.

  • Mustpossessbasic computational ability.

  • Musthave computer skills.

  • Previousexperience as a coordinator and/or answering phonesstronglypreferred.

  • Ability to maintain4-Diamond level cleanliness standards

  • Ability to work with management on special projects

  • Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency asrequired

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs

  • Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 75lbs

  • Mustbe able to communicate via radio and phone as needed

Rate per hour starts at $32.93 and increases to $33.60 after 90 days
