Overview:

The Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of the room service staff. Their main concern is to ensure that guests are consistently serviced in a courteous, efficient and unobtrusive manner. The Supervisor will have full responsibility in the absence of Assistant Room Service Manager.

Responsibilities:

Ensure optimal performance in the day-to-day operation.

Assist Room Service Manager and Assistant Room Service Manager in training of the staff.

Check the waiters' orders and set-up.

Control order load of the waiters.

Assign waiters and service attendants duties.

Check on tray and table removal.

Establish and maintain cohesive and effective Associate relations.

Inspect daily set-up, presentation and delivery of amenities.

Handle the execution of the hospitality.

Maintain guest contact.

Conduct administrative work requirements.

Performs related duties and special projects.

Provides functional assistance and directions to the Room Service operation.

Ensure work area is clean and clear of standing water, debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Enthusiastic and friendly with a positive attitude

Must have previous food and beverage experience in fine dining or hotel

Room Service experience is preferred

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including AM & PM shifts, weekends and holidays

Minimum high school diploma

Must have TIPS Certification & food certification.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Candidates must be able to speak fluent English
