ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Prepare, and serve food and beverage offerings within a coffee house setting
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates
MustrepresentOmni standards when handling guest complaints and issues
Must remain professional in all situations
Mustbe willing towork in stressful, high-pressure situations
Understand andfollowproper uniform and grooming standards
Ensure that the lobby public areas aremaintained
Assistwith monthly inventory, if necessary
Maintain a clean workspace throughoutentireshift
Follow proper proceduresregardingtendering transactions
Maintain a cash bank, and adhere to cash handling procedures
Responsible foraccuracy ofguest room numbers for room charges
Collaboratewith other departments to ensure guest needs are satisfied
Adhere to proper food handling procedures
Proper knowledge of equipmentuseand safety procedures
Adhere to all policiesregardingemployee purchasesand discount standards
Follow proper procedures for all logs,receiptsand returns.
Follow proper procedures for accepting creditcardsand checks.
Ensure each beverage is consistently prepared and served byOmnistandards.
Proactively work to seek out ways in which to improve the experience for our guests.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum1-yearcustomer serviceexperience;in food/beverage and/or retail environment.
Previouscoffee house and/or hotel experience preferred.
Previouscash handling and customer service experiencerequired.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests,managementand co-workers.
Ability toaccurately and efficiently input informationinto MICROS.
Ability to handle stressfulsituations,whilemaintaininga calm and welcoming demeanor.
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in afast-pacedenvironment.
Must become familiar with all products and methods including Coffee, Espresso, Specialty Drinks and Retail Items.
ENVIRONMENT&POSITION ANALYSIS:
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds withoutassistance.
Stand,walkor sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires repetitive motion, with consistent use of hands and arms.

Desktop computer (Opera, MicrosterminalandMicrosoft Office), printer, telephone, copier, faxmachineandscanner.Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, dishware, silverware, glassware,espresso machine, TurboChef, and toaster.Cleaning supplies such as vacuum, mop, broom,dusterand chemicals.
