Retail Sales Associate - Collections (Gift Shop)

Overview:

The Retail Sales Associate will be responsible for warmly welcoming guests into our Collections gift shop. In this role, they will act as a shopkeeper—engaging with customers, showcasing merchandise, assisting with product selection, and processing sales transactions to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and personalized service by answering guest inquiries and offering thoughtful recommendations on products and hotel amenities.
• Drive retail performance through effective up selling and suggestive selling techniques, enhancing the guest experience while maximizing revenue.
• Accurately process all sales transactions while maintaining the integrity of a balanced cash drawer and adhering to hotel financial procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must demonstrate flexible availability, including the ability to workdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A minimum of one year of customer service experience is required, preferably in a fast-paced or guest-focused environment.
• Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing tasks that involve bending, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
