Set tables according to type of event and service standardsas directed byleadership
Suggestivelysellitemsand answer questions/offer suggestions on both food and beverage menu selections
Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
Record transaction in MICROSsysteminatimelymanner
Adhereto cash handling standards
Ensuresatisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
Present accurate check to guest and process payment
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Station set-up and breakdown/side-work
Perform any other duties as assigned byleadership
Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum1 yearserving experience
Must acquire TIPSand ServSafecertifications
Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines
Previous cash handling experience required
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and co-workers
Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS
Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department
Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up on guest requests and needs in afast-pacedenvironment
Excellent customer service, service recovery andproblem-solvingskills
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
ENVIRONMENT&POSITION ANALYSIS:
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Position requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and consistent use of hands and arms
Must be able to standandwalk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments
