The Rooftop Busser supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient poolside dining environment. This position assists servers with service needs, clears tables, collects garbage from all bins in dining and pool areas, and ensures the rooftop remains clean and ready for guests throughout each seating. The role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Always treats guests with courtesy and respect in a variety of situations.

Deliver food to pool guests and maintain basic menu knowledge when presenting items.

Transfer food orders from the kitchen to the Rooftop in a timely manner with knowledge of the floor plan.

Communicate with the chef regarding ticket times and any unavailable or sold out menu items.

Support the transition between time slots by clearing and resetting tables.

Complete all opening duties as assigned.

Properly stock all side stations to par, according to Rooftop standards.

Prepare and complete side work for service, including restocking and organizing supplies.

Restock liquor cages and ensure servers have all materials needed for service.

Communicate any supply shortages to management.

Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests

however busy.

Assist servers with any service needs to ensure smooth and timely guest experiences.

Follow Department of Health (DOH) cleanliness and food handling protocols, including proper glove use.

Maintain pool safety standards by placing wet floor signs when necessary and keeping pathways clear.

Collect and remove garbage from all bins in the rooftop and dining areas throughout service.

Assist the dishwashers in maintaining order of plates in the dish room at all times.

Clear and re-set tables with attention to detail according to Rooftop standards.

Complete extra cleaning projects as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Experience in Pool side service and nightlife VIP service experience.

Strong multitasking and communication skills.

Ability to work outdoors in warm weather conditions.

Team-oriented with a proactive attitude toward supporting service operations.

Attention to cleanliness, organization, and guest safety.

Ability to reach, climb up and down stairs, carry multiple objects, and Lift 50 pounds.

Compensation $15.00/ hour + tips
