Resumen de la posición

El/La cocinero/a de banquetes se encarga de preparar y cocinar todos los platos fríos y calientes, manteniendo los estándares de calidad establecidos por el resort. Buscamos disponibilidad por la tarde.

Funciones esenciales:

Preparar todos los artículos enumerados en las listas de preparación diaria, siguiendo el procedimiento estándar o según lo indique el supervisor, verificando regularmente el producto y manteniendo una alta calidad en todo momento.
Organice la comida preparada por día, función y nombre del grupo. Marque los artículos de la lista de preparación solo cuando esté lista.
Verifique el control de las porciones: pesos y conteos antes, durante y después de la preparación.
Prepara la comida para servir. Sírvela en la línea de servicio.
Siga los procedimientos de almacenamiento adecuados al retirar alimentos de la cámara o al devolverlos a la cámara.
Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia en todo momento. Siga la política de "limpiar sobre la marcha".
Mantener los accesos, el área de preparación y todo el equipo de acuerdo con los estándares del Departamento de Salud y del Resort.
Ayudar en otras áreas de la cocina, según sea necesario.
Ayudar a transportar alimentos y equipos a otras áreas de la propiedad para el servicio satelital.
Otras funciones de apoyo según lo determinen los Chefs.

Cualificaciones:

Educación: Se prefiere diploma de escuela secundaria.

Experiencia: Se requiere al menos dos años de experiencia en trabajos de cocina y preparación.

Certificados o licencias: Tarjeta de trabajador de servicios de alimentos del condado de Maricopa

Conocimientos, habilidades y destrezas:

Capacidad de limpiar con limpiadores de cocina abrasivos.
Habilidades matemáticas básicas necesarias para comprender e implementar recetas y mediciones.
Se necesita una buena coordinación mano/ojo para utilizar todos los equipos de cocina, es decir, picadoras, ralladores, batidoras, etc.
Capacidad de alcanzar y colocar objetos en una línea directa
Capacidad para trabajar en espacios confinados a temperaturas extremas.
Capacidad para agarrar, levantar, transportar, empujar o tirar productos de hasta 100 libras.
Capacidad para memorizar y ejecutar estándares de resort, estándares de diamantes AAA y estándares de compradores misteriosos.
