We are looking for a …. Engineer to join our team and ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of all hotel facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on, solutions-oriented professional who takes pride in maintaining high standards, troubleshooting efficiently, and supporting a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues alike.

The Engineer works closely with leadership and other departments to proactively maintain equipment, respond to maintenance requests, and assist in facility improvements while upholding Lyle’s culture, mission, and commitment to heartfelt hospitality.

Engineer Essential Functions:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hotel systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in an organized and safe manner
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations
• Assist with renovations, repairs, and facility improvement projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Previous hotel or facilities engineering experience preferred
• Hands-on technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to high service standards and guest satisfaction

Compensation:

$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
