Wage - $‎34.48/Hour. Overtime eligible.

THE ROLE

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for inspecting all guest rooms and ensuring the proper cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, service areas and linen closets. This position primarily performs quality control functions to ensure standards and expectations are met.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Prepare report with the status of all guest rooms and guest requests.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, appropriate guest amenities, and working conditions of all guest rooms.
• Assists in maintaining close control of inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure work shifts are covered with adequate and correct staffing during peak periods and high occupancy.
• Monitor performance of team members on an on-going basis and assist the department director in providing feedback.
• Assist with implementing the proper training program and new hire training.
• Follow management instructions and completes other duties as directed or assigned.
• Individuals with passion for customer service and able to work with others seamlessly. This means having no problem collaborating within a diverse team.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

• Must have 1-2 years of guest room attendant experience, previous supervisory experience preferred

• Dynamic and working calmly under pressure.
• Ability to y be carrying/lifting up to 30 pounds, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps.
• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules including weekends and holidays.
