Position Overview

The General Manager serves as the steward of the hotel’s vision, culture, and performance. This hands-on leader will shape the guest experience, build a passionate team, and ensure the hotel operates as a distinctive destination within the community. The role blends strategic oversight with daily presence on the floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations with a strong focus on personalized service

• Build and mentor a service-driven team aligned with the hotel’s values and brand story

• Create a warm, memorable guest experience through intentional service standards and storytelling

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance while maintaining brand integrity

• Drive guest satisfaction, online reputation, and meaningful service recovery

• Foster relationships with local partners, vendors, and the surrounding community

• Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and operational regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, preferably in boutique or lifestyle hotels

• Proven ability to lead small, agile teams with a hands-on approach

• Strong financial and operational acumen

• Passion for design-forward hospitality, curated experiences, and local engagement

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
