Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service during catered events.
• Set up banquet rooms including tables, linens, glassware, and condiments.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders, including alcoholic beverages.
• Serve food courses and clear tables according to service standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned stations and service areas.
• Interact professionally with guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Complete opening and closing duties such as stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and storing reusable goods.
• Assist with room turnovers between events.
• Follow cleaning schedules and maintenance programs.
• Notify management of any shift-related issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain or management.

Essential Qualifications:

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of banquet serving experience.
• Education: High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Skills:
  • Ability to understand and respond to guest service needs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle interruptions calmly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of banquet standards, food and beverage service, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
