Sales Coordinator Position at Boston Bowl

As a Sales Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning and executing exciting events that engage customers and enhance their experience at Boston Bowl. We are looking for a self-motivated, outgoing individual who is comfortable talking with potential customers, building relationships, and actively promoting our offerings. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, engaging, and proactive, with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

You will be responsible for organizing and managing a variety of events within the bowling center. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities will directly contribute to the success of each event—from birthday parties and corporate outings to themed celebrations. This role is full time, and nights and weekends may be required as event schedule dictates. 

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Planning and Coordination

· Identify Client Requirements: Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and event goals.

· Logistics Management: Organize event set-up, execution, tear-down, and post-event follow-up.

· Budget Maintenance: Maintain event budgets and allocate resources efficiently.

· Venue Selection and Design: Assist with venue selection and contribute creative ideas to event design and layout within the building constraints.

2. Customer Engagement & Sales Support

· Outgoing Customer Interaction: Confidently engage with guests and potential customers, answering questions and promoting event offerings as well as providing site tours, showcasing different attractions as well as menu options. 

· Relationship Building: Build rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

· Customer Outreach: Engage prospective customers through proactive phone, email and in person outreach to support sales pipeline growth.

· Event Documentation: Create thorough and organized event summaries to ensure accurate billing and seamless customer follow-up and share with team.

· Ensure Smooth Execution: Support the overall event experience by ensuring timely execution and smooth logistics.

· POS and Sales Platform Training: Participate in TripleSeat, Qubica and Bowling University trainings at the beginning of employment and continue as needed. 

3. Marketing and Promotion

· Collaborate with Marketing Team: Partner with the marketing team to collaborate to promote upcoming events and specials.

· Content Capture: Take photos and videos during events for marketing and social media use.

· Client Database Management: Utilize and maintain client database TripleSeat to forecast events, track leads, and schedule outreach.

4. Creativity and Adaptability

· Themed Events: Plan and execute engaging themed events (e.g., cosmic bowling nights, retro parties).

· Customization: Adapt event plans to meet client preferences and target different audiences.

5. Post-Event Evaluation

· Feedback Collection: Gather and document feedback from clients and participants.

· Continuous Improvement: Use insights to improve future events and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

6. Team Collaboration

· Cross-Team Coordination: Work closely with internal staff to ensure successful and seamless event delivery.

Requirements

Qualifications

· This position requires a solid knowledge of sales techniques and business etiquette and practices. Requires ability to speak English and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. 

· Requires ability to relate to the public in a warm, friendly and professional manner. 

· Requires solid proficiency in data entry and computer skills, composition of letters and reports, keen attention to detail when composing, typing and reviewing materials, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. 

· College degree preferred with a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
