Restaurant Server/Bartenders are responsible for verifying the identification and age of customers, accepting payment, cleaning glasses and bar utensils, and balancing cash receipts. Bartenders are responsible for mixing cocktails, serving drinks and cleaning the bar. They are also responsible for assessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations. Should have common bar knowledge of wines, spirits and beer.

Must be TABC certified to serve, and experience is desired, will consider server applicants who have experience with alcohol sales.

What You’ll Do as Restaurant Server / Bartender

• Service Excellence: Provide the finest quality of service in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring guests have an exceptional dining experience. 
• Dining Area Maintenance: Prepare and consistently maintain the dining area and supplies to ensure a guest-ready atmosphere. 
• Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items and maintain Prominence Hospitality’s standards for quality service. 
• Food Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety at all times
• POS System & Cash Handling: Utilize a POS system confidently and balance a cash drawer accurately. 
• Team Collaboration: Attend mandatory meetings and hotel functions; coordinate with the function group leader to finalize service arrangements. 
• Multitasking: Balance service, preparation, and guest interactions while managing time effectively
• Positive Energy: Bring a fun, energetic spirit to the team as we work hard and have fun together! 

What You’ll Bring 

• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, and bartending experience preferred. 
• Skills: Sound knowledge of food safety guidelines; excellent communication in English (bilingual a plus). 
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. 
• Flexibility: Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed to meet hotel demands. 
• Personality: Fun, positive, and energetic with a desire to create memorable guest experiences.
