Key Responsabilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and public areas
• Lead and complete painting, drywall, and wall covering projects with a focus on quality and detail
• Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the Engineering workshop and work areas
• Assist in larger renovation or improvement projects under direction of the Director of Engineering
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest and team member maintenance requests
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout, MSDS, and PPE compliance

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or engineering — hotel experience preferred
• Hands-on expertise in painting, drywall repair, wall coverings, and plumbing required
• Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders and tools safely, and work in indoor/outdoor conditions
