Responsibilities
Maintain a balance between floor supervision, administration, and hosting/communicating with groups
Coordinate meals and set up requests with theappropriate department.
Maintain written and verbal communications with meeting planners, groups, Front Office, Catering, and Sales.
Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing a clean menu in front of guests
Answer phone and record reservations for large parties
Control high volume outside of restaurant
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
Assist servers when needed
Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell
Requirements
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Prior host experience preferred
Must be able to multitask
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance
Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must have Smart Serve
Must have a Food Handler permit (where applicable)

The Doorperson represents the hotel at the main entrance by greeting guests in an enthusiastic and courteous manner. Maintains driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility as well as to ensure ample space for passenger and luggage loading and unloading and offers luggage assistance to all guests.

Guest Service Agents are responsible for providing a five-star welcome and departure experience to each guest, as well as, serving as ambassadors throughout the guest’s stay. Guest Service Agents make the first impression upon our guests by extending a warm welcome, providing information about the hotel and local area, and offering our full range of upscale hotel amenities and services to them. They are also responsible for settling guest accounts upon check-out, resolving guest issues and completing special requests. They work closely with all hotel departments, and especially our Concierge, Bell-Door and Ideal Services teams.
