Responsibilities The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for upkeep, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting with ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units, as well as other general maintenance, in accordance with the standards of Shaner Hotels and the respective franchises. The ideal applicant will be customer service oriented and willing to go the extra mile to make the guest experience one to remember. Requires a strong background in commercial refrigeration and knowledge of ice machines, industrial chiller systems, and air handling units. Also requires basic working knowledge of general maintenance procedures. Full time position with benefits. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments. Observes all house and safety rules, departmental procedures, and security procedures. Assist with inventories as scheduled. Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities Participate in the preventive maintenance program of all building equipment and rooms. Supervise, train, and inspect the performance of Engineering Department to include the proper operation, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment. Assist hotel leadership in developing, coordinating, and monitoring a maintenance program to ensure the safety, security and comfort of all staff and guest. Qualifications Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations. Delegate daily work assignments and review priorities and special projects. Schedule and perform work in accordance with preventive maintenance program in rooms, coordinating with the Rooms Division Department. Ensures final inspection of all engineeringrelated work and execution of all work orders. Performs engineering staff functions whenever necessary. Ensures all safety equipment is in compliance and working order with federal quarterly/annual inspections to city, state and codes. Maintain knowledge of hotel safety procedures and ensure application of such. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces, according to hotel requirements. Perform emergency equipment and machinery repair as needed. Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools. Exercise safety precautions when working on equipment (use of safety signs, etc.). Carries out supervisory responsibilities that may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
ResponsibilitiesThe Night Auditor is responsible for attending to the needs of guests, balancing the revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day, and performing all the functions of the front desk staff during the audit shift. The Night Auditor will possess good communications and guest service skills and have the ability to take appropriate action to meet and exceed guest expectations.Qualifications
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in operating a traditional 24-hour, seven day a week, hotel front desk operation. Greet guests/visitors in a courteous, enthusiastic and professional manner. Check-in and Check-out guests. Proper telephone service to include all incoming external and internal calls and setting of wake-up calls. Handling of mail, faxes, messages and deliveries. Utilization of Stay n Touch, Toast, Word and Excel. Maintain supply of complimentary guest amenities through housekeeping. Refill the Sundry shop upon shift completion. Complete daily shift checklist. Communicate with fellow guest services employees and other departments to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience. Assist all guests in any way possible in a professional and courteous manner.

Helps ensure compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Sales department. Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all Shaner Hotels, franchise, and hotel/departmental policies and procedures, ensuring that Sales team is informed as well. Be knowledgeable and understanding of current customers and accounts, particularly those corporations, agencies, associations, tour operations, sports teams, and other groups or organizations who purchase hotel services. Helps determine and implement what additional business or market segments the hotel should pursue. Establish special packages or programs to boost occupancy during slow periods, and creating advertising through newspaper, direct mail, billboards, etc. in support of these programs. Attend trade shows, chamber of commerce or civic events, and other local organizations in support of hotel sales. Ensures communication with General Manager, all other Department Managers, and staff. Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms. Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction. Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments. Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures. Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards. Returns and restocks cart at end of shift. Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled. Other duties as assigned.
The Line Cooks plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of Food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications. They maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Food safety certification preferred but not required. Work shifts and hours vary, weekend and holiday hours required. The Kitchen Staff prepare mouth-watering cuisine and beverages for our clients and guests. We expect our Associates to provide warm, friendly service with a genuine smile and pleasant attitude. We look for staff who are willing to learn and who seek opportunities to grow. Prior customer service and hospitality experience is helpful, but not required.
