Mike WendelPresident of HospitatlityMike is the current President of Sand Hospitality. He administers and oversees the overall operations of Sand Hospitality,
including, staffing, fiscal budgeting, corporate expenditures and strategic planning. He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Sand Companies, Inc. and a Sand Shareholder.
Mike joined the Sand Companies, Inc. team in 2007, bringing with him more than 30 years of hospitality management and development experience. In 1996 Mike founded Wendel Group Inc., an award-winning development & management company with properties and hotels located across the country. His professional experience also includes several years of hands-on work as general manager of various hotels that kick-started his career along with more than ten years of service as senior vice president of Intra Financial Corporation and Intra Financial Hospitality.
